Chasing Waterfalls: Hulugan falls, Talay falls and Aliw falls

8:46 PM

Ever wondered if " Hanggang saan aabot ang five hundred pesos mo?"

Some will say a movie ( P200) + popcorn and drinks (P150) + miscellaneous expenses ( can after movie food trip, transportation, etc. P150). Others may say you can buy one or two outfits with five hundred pesos.

I say we go chasing waterfalls under five hundred pesos.
Before the Undas, I had the chance to reconnect with an old friend from high school, Jessamine. She invited me to join their chasing waterfalls adventure.

We went to Hulugan Falls, Talay Falls and Aliw Falls.

Our first stop:

HULUGAN FALLS

This is the first time that I saw a rainbow up close. Wow, just wow.

Arabesque, this is my favorite post every time I go on an adventure. So expect more of this pose to my other adventures.

There were a lot of people already when we went to Hulugan Falls so be sure to go there early.

TALAY FALLS

The Talay Falls was way smaller than the Hulugan Falls. So don't expect too much

And our last stop
ALIW FALLS

Out of the three, this one is my personal favorite, we were the only one who went there. It was almost sunset by the time we got there.

HOW TO GET THERE:
1. From Gil Puyat bus station, ride a bus going to Sta. Cruz Laguna.
2. When you arrive at the Luisana Sta. Cruz, Laguna,  ride a jeep going to barangay San Salvador.
( Landmarks for the jeep station: Franks burger, Seven Eleven). Ask the driver to drop you off at San Salvador.

From there, tourguides will assist you on your waterfalls adventure.

HOW MUCH WILL THIS ADVENTURE COST YOU?
Bus ride going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna: P140
Jeep ride to San Salvador: P30
Environmental fee: P10
Tour guide fee: P500
(you can split the tour guide fee among your friends,
we were 6 in the group so we only paid around P80+)
Jeep ride to Bus station going to Gil Puyat: P30
Bus ride going back to Gil, Puyat: P140
Food: P50
( They have carenderia in the registration area,
but I suggest bring your packed lunch)

Don't forget to wear sunblock and bring lots of water and trail food because you'll be doing a lot of walking.

I am so glad that I met new friends during this trip. I am looking forward to more adventures.
That's all for now.
