SG Diaries: City Sightseeing

This post was supposed to be about selfie gadgets you should bring whenever you are travelling but suddenly I have to postpone that post because the pictures are still not available. This blog post is going to be more about my travel adventures since it is summer vacation.

My first out of town travel for #Summer2014 was at the home of the Merlion's, Singapore!

Our flight schedule was around 12:20 am via Tiger airways, because of excitement, I wasn't able to sleep properly at the plane, huhu I don't have the talent to sleep anywhere, anytime and any position those who have that talent are blessed.

Mandatory airport groupie with my cousins

In case you still have to wait for someone to fetch you at the airport, you can do some artsy fartsy color tracing while waiting

They have food restaurants inside like McDonalds and Starbucks incase you get hungry.

Our whole day agenda was to have a tour around the city by the hop on- hop off city sightseeing bus.
The ticket price would be around  sgd $39 which includes an unlimited ride for the day of the tour buses. Upon paying the ticket they will be giving you an earphones which you will use to listen to the descriptions of the places that you will pass by, they will also provide a pamphlet which serves as your trip reference.

You can choose if you want to sit on the first or second floor of  the bus, for us we sat at the 1st floor on our first round trip and on the second floor on the second round trip. The buses have different routes which are the Yellow city route, Red heritage route, Sentosa Rhino feeder, Original tour and a duck tour which includes a land tour and a cruise along Singapore river.

We were able to ride the Yellow city route and red heritage route and went down at the Botanic gardens to check out some naturistic view and to have a little hiking.

The bus tour starts and ends at Suntec, after a very tiring tour we decided to have our lunch at one of the best Japanese restaurant in Singapore,  Sakae Sushi at Marina Square.

I must say that the water is quite expensive in SG.

Since everybody was already tired we had to stop at our hotel, Ritz Carlton, to get a little rest.

after our little rest, while the others are still sleeping my cousin and I decided to ride the red heritage route on our own.

The Verzo's take over Singapore

And that's a wrap for the day, It's amazing that we were able to have an overview on what the city could offer. I can't wait to share more of my #celestravels  adventure here in Singapore . To end this blog post, I just want to share the view of the Marina Bay Sands in the window near our hotel room, outstanding indeed.

Bisous ,
